University leaders went to Ganzhou to visit alumni of our college and conduct enterprise visits to expand employment opportunities.

To further advance the special campaign of visiting enterprises to expand employment opportunities, deepen university-enterprise cooperation and rally the strength of alumni, Liu Jianguang, Member of the University Party Committee Standing Committee and Director of the Organization Department, led a team to Ganzhou on April 11 to visit alumni enterprises and call on local alumni.

Liu Xinjian, a 2001 alumnus majoring in Environmental Engineering and General Manager of Jiangxi Zelin Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., Zhang Yu, a 2003 alumnus majoring in Environmental Engineering and General Manager of Jiangxi Qinglü Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., together with other alumni based in Ganzhou, accompanied the visit.

The delegation successively visited Ganzhou Huangjin Water Equipment Co., Ltd., JL MAG Rare-Earth Co., Ltd., and Ganzhou Shenran Natural Gas Co., Ltd. They conducted on-site inspections to learn about the enterprises’ production and operation, technological innovation and talent demand, and held symposiums with enterprise executives and alumni representatives.

At Huangjin Water Equipment, Zhang Rongfa, Chairman of the company and a 1992 alumnus majoring in Chemical Machinery, introduced the enterprise’s development and environmental protection equipment business. Both sides had in-depth exchanges on talent training, internship and employment, as well as technical cooperation.

At JL MAG, Cai Baogui, Chairman and a 1989 alumnus majoring in Chemical Machinery, was on a business trip. He entrusted senior management of the company to receive the delegation warmly. The two sides reached a consensus on talent supply and demand in the field of new energy materials as well as industry-university-research collaboration.

At Ganzhou Shenran Natural Gas, Chen Chunlin, Deputy General Manager and a 1992 alumnus majoring in Chemical Machinery, briefed the visitors on the company’s operation and job demands. He expressed gratitude for the long-term support from the alma mater and looked forward to deeper cooperation.

On behalf of the university, Liu Jianguang thanked the alumni enterprises for their care and support for the university’s development, and briefed them on the achievements of the university’s discipline construction, talent cultivation and employment work. He stated that alumni are a valuable asset of the university. The alma mater will continue to build a university-enterprise cooperation platform, precisely connect with enterprise demands, and deliver more high-quality professional talents. He also hoped that all alumni will take root in their industries, make outstanding achievements, maintain frequent exchanges with the alma mater, and jointly promote win-win development among university, enterprise and local regions.
