Research Overview
Focusing on resource recovery, water pollution control, and advanced water treatment based on physicochemical and electrochemical functional platforms. Principal Investigator of multiple vertical projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Special Postdoctoral Funding Program, National Funded Postdoctoral Researcher Program (Grade B), and provincial key laboratory projects. Participated in collaborative projects such as the National Key R&D Program, NSFC Joint Funds, and the Chongqing Returnee Entrepreneurship Program. Published over twenty SCI papers, with several first-authored works appearing in top-tier environmental journals like Environmental Science & Technology and Water Research. Serves as an independent reviewer for journals including Water Research, Desalination, Chemical Engineering Journal, and Chinese Chemical Letters.
The Water Reuse and Resource Recovery Research Group, led by Director Hongwei Yang (Institute of Water Quality Safety and Smart Water Systems), welcomes applications and inquiries from students passionate about scientific research in chemistry, materials, municipal engineering, environmental science, and related fields. Group members who meet the requirements are encouraged and supported to pursue further academic development.
