Research Overview

Prof. Huang has carried out a great deal of important work on regional paleoclimate and environment, as well as heavy metal pollution and risk assessment. He participated in the sub-project Integration of Water Environment Risk Assessment and Management Technology of the National Water Pollution Control and Treatment Science and Technology Major Project, and took part in compiling the textbook Case Studies on Environmental Impact Assessment. He has presided over multiple projects including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Natural Science Foundation of Jiangxi Province, and social service projects.
At present, his research focuses on exploring the spatio-temporal evolution and driving forces of carbon "sources" and "sinks" in terrestrial ecosystems of the Yangtze River Economic Belt from the perspective of land use change based on remote sensing technology.
