Research Overview

Engages in long-term research on environmental and energy catalysis, with emphasis on room-temperature catalytic abatement of air pollutants (e.g., VOCs, O₃) and low-carbon, high-efficiency catalytic degradation of aqueous organic contaminants via tribo-catalysis. Core efforts encompass the rational design and synthesis of advanced catalytic materials, comprehensive mechanistic investigations, and the development of innovative air/water purification systems, processes, and apparatuses. Has been funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China (n=2), Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation (n=3), and China Postdoctoral Science Foundation (n=1). Published more than 70 SCI publications including J. Am. Chem. Soc., JACS Au, Appl. Catal. B: Environ., J. Catal., Chem. Engin. J., J. Hazard. Mater., with more than 5,000 citations and H-index=39.
