Research Fields

The research mainly focuses on atmospheric environment and environmental toxicology, with specific directions including:
  1. Chemical composition, distribution, sources and sinks of aerosols;

  2. Optical properties of light-absorbing carbonaceous aerosols (black carbon, brown carbon);

  3. Emission characteristics and impacts of indoor and outdoor aerosol emission sources (indoor sources such as printers and cigarette smoking; outdoor sources such as industrial boilers and vehicle exhaust);

  4. Impacts of atmospheric deposition on surface water/soil and environmental geochemical behaviors of substances;

  5. Toxicological effects and intervention measures of environmental pollutants (atmospheric particulate matter, heavy metals, etc.).
