Words from the Role Model

Strive constantly for self-improvement and pursue progress with diligence. Looking back on my entire college career as I stand at the end of midsummer, I can recall so much hardship and tears. I am not a representative of perpetual excellence in the traditional sense; on the contrary, I stand for a comeback from failure. Countless afternoons, as the gentle breeze brushed my face, I watched the endless stream of people on the playground and wondered how wonderful it would be if it were an afternoon of my freshman year—how many regrets I could make up for and how many tears I could wipe away. But I think this is exactly the charm of life: falling down repeatedly, growing steadily, exploring the answers to life's journey continuously, striving to make a grand appearance on the stage that belongs to you, and then taking a quiet bow.

In short, I hope every one of you can have a precious memory, a summer without regrets, and more importantly, a bright future! Nanchang University has boundless prospects!
