Wei Linsheng

Wei Linsheng, male, PhD, Professor, PhD Supervisor. He currently serves as Vice Dean of the College of Resources and Environment, Nanchang University, and concurrently as Director of the Department of Process Equipment and Control Engineering.

His main research interests include high-efficiency ozone generation and its applications, green and high-efficiency process (environmental protection) equipment, and non-thermal plasma. He holds the position of Chairman of the Ozone Professional Committee of China Environmental Protection Machinery Industry Association, Editorial Board Member of Ozone: Science & Engineering, and Editorial Board Member of Journal of Nanchang University (Engineering & Technology Edition).

He has received numerous honors and titles: Jiangxi Young Scientist in 2013; Ganjiang Young Scholar in 2014; Ganjiang Distinguished Professor in 2015; Winner of Jiangxi Provincial Outstanding Youth Science Fund in 2018; and Academic and Technical Leader of Major Disciplines in Jiangxi Province – Leading Talent in 2020. He also acts as Visiting Professor at the University of Bologna, Italy, and Visiting Researcher at the Czech Academy of Sciences, and serves as External Director and Technical Consultant for several listed companies.

Professor Wei has presided over 6 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 14 provincial and municipal-level scientific research projects, and more than 30 enterprise-cooperated horizontal projects. He is the Principal Investigator of a task under the National Science and Technology Major Project for Water Pollution Control and Treatment. In addition, he has led 1 national-level quality engineering project and 1 provincial-level education reform project.

He has published more than 60 academic papers, over 50 of which are indexed by SCI/EI, and obtained 11 authorized patents. His research and teaching achievements have been recognized with 1 Second-Class Provincial Teaching Achievement Award, 1 2021 Environmental Technology Progress Award from the China Environmental Protection Industry Association, 1 Science and Technology Progress Award from China Railway 18th Bureau Group Co., Ltd., and 1 Second-Class Science and Technology Award from the Shanghai Society for Measurement and Testing.
